Add cinnamon to your drinks and food. Cinnamon has antioxidants and it lowers insulin levels. Sugar is found in many foods, especially processed foods, read the labels. There are many types of sugar, like honey, fructose, corn syrup, and agave. Insulin raises your blood pressure and pressure in the eyes. If you are prone to glaucoma raised insulin will bring on an attack. Bread and any flour can clog the eyes when you are prone to glaucoma or cataracts.
Exercise, take a walk near nature, if possible. Eat vegetables, Spinach and egg yolks have zeaxanthin,which is good for the eyes. When cooked it destroys it. Sunny side up eggs will still have some zeaxanthin. Eliminating sugar and flour will give you a healthier life. I know it is hard but every little bit you accomplish will help.
